It had been so long since she had talked to another person. At the moment he really didn't seem dangerous. he was trying so hard to do something kind for her just like that girl. now she felt bad. Maybe she shouldn't have run away earlier, maybe the girl had just wanted to help. But then again maybe the b... Russell, had other motivations. she wished she could see insides peoples heads. If she could she wouldn't need to be afraid because she would know what a person intentions were.
He was talking about the weather. She couldn't tell if it was a joke or not. The rain was soaking them both, but some people liked the rain, she liked the rain most of the time. "Not here."

Russell laughed, "Yeah, not here." He wasn't the one that was suppose to be laughing yet he was. Now that he was paying attention he just realized how far he was from the hotel. Wow, so much for a little walk it seemed that he had walked nearly a mile. Of corse that was over exaggerating. "So... do you live here?"
The silence was kind of unconfortable. Mainly because she was scared and he hadn't done anything wrong. At least, he didn't think he did anything wrong. That was the same with Asira... he was just there and everything turned out badly. Which reminded him, he needed to buy a new newspaper now. Today was turning out splendedly. Long walk, dropped the news paper, and now he's bringing some random girl to the hotel.

She shook her head. After all she had no home anymore. Her old house probably belonged to someone else by now. Her eyes watered a bit at that thought. In her head she could still see it. It was so peaceful and so beautiful. Her family's farm had been a Paradise. It had always been so bright and lively. Everything here was dark and depressing. She was usually so excited about the rain. It brought new life to all the plants, here it just made everything muddy and cold. He stomach gave another rumble. she really wished she could just shut it up. As afraid as she was, Russell wasn't as hard to talk with as some people. All the same she continued to shake till the coughing interrupted the steady rhythm of her tremors.

Well that might explain something. She wasn't from this town, so she didn't have anywhere to stay. Lila might be in the same boat that the Tringhams where in. They just had the luck of being out in the world by themselves for over five years. It's only been five, it seemed a lot longer than that. Nash left them rather young, then their mother died from a mysterious cough. One would think he would be more afraid of coughs. But he wasn't. Because now he knew what exactly their mother died from. The effects of red water.
"You don't live here? Were you headed somewhere?" Russell asked not wanting to jump to conclusions to fast. He had a hunch that he was correct, but assuming something like this would be dangerous. Just a bit farther and they'll be home. Home, is that what he's calling that place now?

She may as well be honest with him it wasn't going to hurt anything, she was already going ware ever it was he was takeign her. She cleared her throat. It was painful from how raw it was, and her voice was starting to sound a little raspy."No I wasn't heading annoyware." Sadly enough Central had been destination. She wished she had never set foot in this city. Slowly her energy was fading again. She wasn't cold anymore infact she felt like she was burning up.

Russell's stride became even longer as he started to get even more impatient. One good thing about being as tall as he was, he had enough legs to double his speed without actually running. "Central has a lot to offer... if you look in the right places." And stay on the right side of the law. Oh when he held a grudge with Central. He didn't really hate the city then. It was his own fault he got arrested... But that's a different story.
The wide streets started to narrow down to the alley ways. He really did hate where this hotel was located. Off in the middle of nowhere, in a shady part of town. If Central had so much to offer why hasn't he started renting an apartment? Really, he didn't know what he wanted to do. Studying his life away and keeping his brother in good shape has been the only things he has been doing lately.
For being without a jacket and in the pouring rain, why was he nearly sweating? He was to worried about getting to the hotel and keeping a conversation going that he didn't notice that his arms were getting warmer and warmer. Sure, this was taking some effort but not enough to be getting this warm over. This girl was probably doing worse than he thought.

She seriously doubted that. City's could be convenient but they were still horrible places. But still she had to admit that she didn't know to much about them. "Like what?" She examined his face. It was still so confusing, why was he so determined to help her? They didn't know each other, and she couldn't do anything for him. What did he get out of this? She would have to ask later when her head wasn't spinning. Her coughing echoed around the ally, tearing at her throat. Maybe she was dieing after all. If she was she wished it would hurry up and happen, ten at least she wouldn't be in pain..... but her sister. Well if Lila was dead there was no reason for the man to keep Rina locked up, he would probably let her go.

Russell had to think on that one. Like what... "Book shops filled with books on every other block. Places to work without having to stay for long... Cheap board..." His main reason of staying in Central was the first one. The others just gave him the ability to stay. "And something new down every alleyway." Everything that he has done has started and ended in an alley way. His panic attack lead him to an alley. If he didn't have that, he would have just walked on and Adi would not have become his friend. Asira's story started and ended in the alleys. And now Lila. Not to mention Edward appeared again...
"Hang in there now. We're almost there. Just around this corner."

She nodded at his last statement and went back to their previous conversation. "And Concrete, lots of people, buildings every ware, hardly anything green." She blushed, she hadn't meant to go rambling on like that. She was so tired though it was hard to feel anything even her overwhelming terror. She just wanted it to end. Why hadn't sh lost consciousness longer than she had. The dark nothingness had been so comfortable and safe.
