A young Girl Walked into town looking for information. She had Long black/brown hair and blue/grey eyes, and wore a pair of black slacks, a plain shirt, and a green over coat. Her thick bangs fell across her left eye hiding the thin, long, white scar that ran from the corner of her eye to the middle of her jaw. She stopped in front of a grocery shop and looked around.

Luckily Adi had remembered that she was supposed to run errands for Mrs. Backwaren otherwise it might not have been a good thing. She carried a bad with some groceries in it to wards the door when she spotted the girl.
" Hello! My names Adi! do you need any help finding something?"

The girl stared at her for a moment, "um... Yes, I need to find someone. He's supposed to be a great alchemist." She hoisted her back pack up higher on her shoulder and shuffled her feet a bit. She was rather uncomfortable around people she didn't know.

She frowned. "I don't know very many alchemist. maybe you have a physical description or you know ware they work, or live? I could help you better then." She really didn't want to just leave the girl there with out a clue as to are to look. after all I already made a mess of things for one person today.

The girl shuffled her feet some more and looked around. There was a dog begging for scraps, a mother and her children crossing the street, a man standing on the street corner with his back to her. "He..... um... well, he's said to be kinda short but with a great temper." she let her voice fall in volume as the man on the street corner turned around too casually "Um...... The Full Metal Alchemist.........?"

Adi Blinked a few times. "looking? for..... but don't you know?...I mean everyone knows..." She tried very hard not to look strangely at the girl. She had never met any one who didn't know something like that. The Elrics were famous everyone knew about them disappearing, or at least she'd thought they had. "Are you sure thats who your looking for." she didn't mean to be rude but the name couldn't be right.

The girl was becoming more unnerved. "Yes, I'm positive!" She glanced back at the man on the corner he was walking toward the two girls. "Excuse me." The man stepped between them and took the girl's wrist, "Miss Rasenbourg if You'll come with me." He started dragging her toward the street. "Let me go!!!! HELP!"

Why was this man dragging the girl somewhere? It didn't make any sense. Had the girl done something wrong or was she in trouble of some other kind. There isn't much time to think it over make a decision quick! She looked between the two for a moment before coming to a decision. I really hope this is the right thing to do She quickly ran to wards the pair still struggling toward the street. She delivered a good strong punch to the mans shoulder hopefully numbing the arm. She reached out and took hold of the girls wrist, which had been dropped by the man like she had hoped, and ran for it as fast as she could.

The girls ran till they could run no more, with the man right behind them. They slipped down an allyway and hid among the rubbish until the man gave up the search and left. "Thank you.... Adi right?" The girl climbed out of her hiding place between two trash cans hidden by several heavy garbage bags. "Yes, I am positive I've got the name right. I've heard he's infamous for his temper as well as his abilities. The Full Metal Alchemist.... I must find him! Please, do you know where he might be, I was told that he last resided here..."

She shook her head. " I think you'd better come with me." She took the girls wrist again and led her down the back streets and alleyways. After a long silent trip they made it to the back door of a tiny shop. "This is Mr. Amery's book shop, I don't think that man would think to look in here. Mr. Amery won't mind us being in here. I don't think he's in right now though."
She took the spare key out of her pocket and opened the back door. She'd run out of the shop so fast that she had forgotten to give it back to the old man on accident. I guess that was a good thing. She led the girl in to the shop and pointed out a small shelf of books.
"Those are all biographies of Edward Elric, The Full metal Alchemist, the one thing they all agree on is that he disappeared four years ago. I don't understand how you didn't know that but there you go."

The girl stood there stunned, her last hope crushed. She took a small step toward the book shelf and stopped. "What do you mean disappeared?" She brushed her fingertips over the spine of the nearest book. It couldn't be, it just couldn't! "Disappeared like dead? What about the other one? There was another like him right? Where is he?"

"I don't know some of the books say dead some of them just says he's missing. And as far as I've heard the younger Elric disappeared too. about two years ago." She shook her head sadly. "I'm sorry I can't help you more. but the only information I have is from these books. I don't remember any rumors from when the Elrics were around."
Adi pulled one of the books off the shelf just to have something in her hand while she thought. "I don't think anyone really knows. All the books say something different and some of them are so unbelievable. I'm sorry." she apologized again wishing she could help.

The girl gave her a tired and defeated smile, "It's not your fault. Thank you for all you've done. I'm Asira by the way." She pulled a book off the shelf and flipped through it looking for some clue. "Umm...... You wouldn't happen to have any books on basic alchemy would you? I know not many establishments do but....." She put the book back on the shelf, her hand lingering on the leather spine.

She returned the girls smile. "Yes we do but the store's not open right now. I don't mean to pry. I mean feel free to not answer if it's to personal but why were you looking for him?" She put her own book back on the shelf hating that she had to deny selling a book to her at the moment but rules were rules and the store was already closed for the night."

Asira hesitated a moment. "I know..... I know I could pass the state alchemy exams with out conflict, but......." She stopped looking out the shops small front window to make sure no one was watching. "I need help. And as far as I've been told, he's the only one that can help me...."She turned toward the door only to run into a solid something. "Miss Rasenbourg, you are trying my patients. Come now!" The man from before grabbed her wrists hard then shoved Asira back into the bookshelves with such force that it knocked the wind out of her. He then turned to Adi. "Don't try anything, I'm ready for you this time."
