It was a time when the nations of the world were it's masters. Magi-technology was unbounded by the shortages it would later face. Marvels continued to fill the world every day. Plagues were defeated; the infirm healed. It was a bright and powerful age, yet even in this time, with all the innovation, and skill available to these mighty and brilliant people, they could not eradicate danger from their homes.
Vicious creatures, and determined brigands roam the lands, threatening the unwary. The predjudice between humans, elves, and half-elves exists, uncontrolled. Even the very forces of nature can be found at times, violently sweeping the land...
This is a historic time. Tension is growing between the two greatest kingdoms in the land: Tethe'alla, and Sylvarant. How will the populace deal with this? Great events are cresting the horizon. A war will come, A hero will rise, and the world will be split by his influence.
