Wrath sat in a crouch on the roof top of one of the wire's that hung above central. He was almost weightless so the wire didn't bend awkwardly, but he weighed enough so the wind didn't sway him. He chuckled as he watched the crowd of people scurry below him, unnoticing. In human form he stuck out like a sore thumb, even among these people. Humans were always oblivious to what was above or below them though. Which made his job so much easier. All he had to consentrate on was not to bleed.
The last visit he made to a city didn't end well. It was the first time he actually got caught. The wound was still open and was still aubsurdly obvious. It bled bad usually but he couldn't let it drop not one dr....
drip. drip. drip.
"No," he whispered reaching for the drops. It stung but he could handle it. He had to catch it. But he didn't. All he could do was pray it didn't hit anyone....it was time to go down anyway though. So he stood up and spread his arms wide. Then dived straight down into the crowd.
In mid air he changed into a shadow so the fall didn't hurt. He immediatly attached to the wall He loved the falling sensation and when he reached the ground he almost missed it. But he needed food and water to get his shoulder to he...
All of a sudden he reappeared in an alley. He fell to his knee's and screamed, gripping the cut on his shoulder for dear life. It hurt...bad. He couldn't make it stop this time. He pulled himself to a stand and stumbled toward the crowd. He couldn't use his abilities, it hurt to much and his shoulder stopped it from working properly anyway.

The crowded streets were no match for the maid. No one bumped her as she bumped no one else. Her groceries were held to her chest and she had to see pass the celery stalks and some of the other leafy vegetables.
Tap tit tap tit tap
She was nearly skipping down the streets her boots making a clip on the stone walk ways. Her black hair took to the man made breeze of all the people walking around her and jumped with her bouncy gait. It had been a while since she left the house. Usually the other servants took care of the shopping, but everyone else was busy today.
The dark skin of the Isbalian girl was nearly hidden with all that covered her. Only her hands were easily visible but against the dark colored paper bag they were hardly noticeable. And the vegetables in the bag decided to move quiet often.
Like everyone else on the streets she only paid attention to the path in front of her to make sure she didn't run into anyone or anyone ran into her. However, that didn't stop her from noticing a couple dark colored drops fall from the sky. She didn't think up looking up till she was upon the stop where the drops had landed.
The three small puddles had escaped everyone else's notice it seemed. Maybe if she had blinked at a different time she would have missed it completely as well. If it was just on the ground she would have thought nothing of it... however, it came from the air.
Stupidly, Aeron looked up to find nothing but a wire swaying slightly in the breeze. Was a bird bleeding? That could be the only logical explanation. There as nothing she could do but shrug it off. There was nothing she could do if it was gone.

Wrath growned as he entered the street. It hurt so bad. He gripped his left shoulder that still held the arrow tip inside of it. The person who had shot it was right on target. If he wasn't what he was, the arrow would have hit the right and ended him. This was just temporary.
He didn't notice till now the woman that stopped to admire the three drops of blood that lay in the middle of the road. She knew the dark skin well, along with those red eyes. Wrath himself had lived in Ishval himself for some time. He stuck out there more than he did here.
Wrath didn't want to have to pick threw the crowd. It would be to much of a pain. His wound might not be able to take a bump. But he couldn't shadow his way there either. So he skuttled forward. When people pushed him he shoved back harder. Words were thrown at him and he spat worse one's back and sent a hard shove there way. He withstood the pain in his shoulder at the most part.
Slowly he got there. He almost chuckled since she hadn't moved amuscle since he saw her over here. Then he looked down at the blood and fought back a growl. "What happened," he asked forcing interest. He knew what happened since it was his own blood. But he had to be inconspicuous. Even though the gash in his bare shoulder gave him away. "Did a bird bleead, or is it you," he asked with a slight smirk. He couldn't help it. Sure he was an amazing lier. But other things pain made him so...happy. Just imagining it made him chuckle or smirk.

The chances of someone noticing the blood on teh ground was improbable. But then... Aeron noticed it so it couldn't have been as improbable as she thought. But then, she was standing in the middle of a crowded street staring up at the sky. And she was Ishbalian...
She was about to answer his first statement but he continued so she shut her mouth. "Was it me? Do I look hurt?" She didn't think so. But she has been known to cut herself then completely forget about it. Makes cleaning difficult while bleeding everywhere. The grocery bag shifted from arm to arm as she searched herself for any visible bleeding. In her search she did notice the boy and stopped quickly.
"But your hurt!" She said stating the obvious. Why was an injured man just walking through the streets of Central... And why was he asking if she was hurt? "Here!" Aeron shifted the bag to one arm and her hand went into her pocket. The one thing that every made seemed to have stacks of in her pocket, she pulled out a handkerchief. "It's not much but... How did that happen? Op... it's... none of my business sorry..." She pulled her hand to her mouth and adverted her gaze. It took her a moment to realize that she was suppose to be giving him the peice of cloth, not using it to hide herself. Quickly she pulled her hand away from her and held it out for him.
This man..., she thought, He's not normal.... Like Aeron was suppose to talk about normal.

Wrath smiled cuase he knew what she was looking for on her own wrists. She was Ishvalian. Life was just naturally harder for her...and he loved it. "Apparently not, I just had to make sure," he said tilting his head to the right. His dull yellow eye's sparked and then faded again. Then with his free hand he brushed his bleach white hair out of his face.
He laughed as the girl fussed over him. He actually found it funny. But then again she didn't know he was Homunculi. The mark was on the back of his neck and hidden by all his thick white hair. "Now no I'm perfectly fine," he said shaking his head as he stabbed a finger threw the wound till he hit the arrow head. Then he begand to push. All he did was flinch every now and again.
Wrath laughed again as the girl studdered and pulled his finger out of the wound and shook the blood off. "It's perfectly fine," he said taking the napkin and using it to rid his finger of the blood. He wanted to freak this girl out. It was funny. "I was only caught doing something I shouldn't and," Wrath sighed as he recollected the moment. "They shot me and now I'm gonna have a nasty scar," Wrath said. He was getting angry just thinking about it. But he couldn't use his abilities or anything which is what he usually did when mad. "Damnit," he shot at nothing and threw the napkin on the ground in anger.

The sight of blood did not make her queasy. She could look at carnage and not even shutter. A whole city could be laying in ruins before her and she wouldn't move. Her eyes would glaze over and she would see why... That would make her sick, that would make her break. The reason she was in Central as a simple house maid. But causing self pain was something she couldn't stand much of... and this man did it with little problems to himself. No human could stand pain like that... This man...
I was only caught doing something I shouldn't and...
More and more she was not liking him. Something was unnatural about him... Something wasn't human about him. And it seemed like it was he himself that wasn't human, that was unnatural. Anger was boiling up inside him as he answered her question. She wasn't strong enough to hold back a jump as he threw her handkerchief, covered in blood, onto the ground.
The groceries on the ground, she forgot about them completely. Slowly she stepped backwards and the bag fell over sending the round veggies rolling across the street. Most had no hope of retreival. They rolled under people's feet and got smashed or they where kicked. Attention was now drawn to the two as Aeron held her hand to her chest and refused to pick up the bag.
"What are you..."

Wrath chuckled as he watched her reactions. He could almost taste the fear and confusion this girl held. The air between them had practically become palpable. But he had to be certain. For his plans to work people needed to fear him. So he put on a concerned face. "Are you afraid...of me," he asked faking disbileif. He was always a good faker.
He wathing as the girl tipped over her own bag of veggies. Then he loked at the girl and noticed she wasn't about to retrieve them. Wrath sighed and rolled his eye's. Then grudgingly bent down and saved the veggies that were saveable. With the last one in his hand, he thought about pocketing it. Wrath glanced up at the girl. He could pocket it so that she wouldn't notice. He was fast enough. In the end he dexcided it was best not to. So he layed it gently in the bag. Then slowly stood up again.
"What are you..."
Wrath's eye's shined and he smiled. It wasn't a very good smile at all...actually it was near psychotic. "So you think you have me figured out already," he asked tilting his head to the side. The chuckled a little and one of his hands went to his mouth. This was actually working not the way he planned it, but very nicely with the plan. "For now let's just say I'm like you, just a little more," he said with a shrugg. The girl had drawn to much attention to them. He couldn't tell people what he was in the open, where everyone could here him. He didn't want the State to find out the Homunculi where back yet. "I'll tell you that when we are alone," he added smirking. This might actually be fun.

Afraid... she hadn't been more since the war. Already he didn't look like everyone else, now he's messing with his wound how no man would ever dare. And she knew how men reacted under pain. He also had a smug look about him... She was playing just as he wanted her. That made her frustrated but it couldn't be helped. Playing in people's hands was exactly how she was raised. In some way, she always did what the person wanted...
Aeron only watched as he picked up the vegetables. That was the least she was worried about right now. For years she worked loyally, a bag of missing groceries won't hurt her record any. Not with how much they paid her... which was just food and shelter. She didn't move from her spot. There was no need. In public she was safe... well, mostly safe. There was always going to be the threat of being beaten by some that think she's no good. But because of her sheltered life, she hasn't had to worry about them.
"Your nothing like me..." Aeron said with some venom in her voice. How could this man be anything like her? Pure white skin, free from any scar that he didn't choose to get. Exotic hair that he could have dyed with the tabooed arts of alchemy. He was no better than anyone else in this town. But just because it was her religion... it didn't mean it was everyone else's.
He thought she would be willing alone with him? That was more insane than thinking he was like her. It was something that should be engraved in every woman's brain by now, never be alone with a complete stranger... Though, she was curious on what he was... and how he thought he was like her.

"Your nothing like me..."
Wrath couldn't help but laugh. They were alike. How could she not see that? It was actually quite simple, really. If you thought about it, which he always did. Connections were in his way of life. He always had to. "Yes we are, think about it," he said calming himself down. Then he walked over close enough so only she could hear, if he whispered. "I'm different, so no one wants me around either," he whispered with a smile.
Then with a quick backflip he was away from her. Though the girl probally wouldn't admit it Wrath knew she had some curiosity. That curiosity was going to play right into his hands. Exactly how he wanted it to. The dark skinned girl won't be able to help it. That's what he loved about human's. Curiosity. That one emotion is the one that drives people toward him. It's almost like no one ever heard the statement 'Curiosity killed the cat.'
The air was still pulpable. The tension was to high. So Wrath relaxed himeslf and gave the girl a kind smile. "Dont worry, it's not like I'm going to kill you," he said tilting his head to the side. He made his appearance become that of gentleness. Trying to calm the girl as well. "I promise," he said with a genuine smile and a gleam in his eye.

Aeron just watched him. She wasn't afraid of being attacked by him in this kind of public so she kept still. But her red eyes not once left him. Her heart skipped a beat.... I'm different, so no one wants me around either. She felt the shock come to her face then quickly tried to contain it. But traces still lined her face even after she covered the emotion.
A back flip in his condition... Why was she trying to find every little detail that wasn't human about him? She was already convinced that he wasn't. He pretty much just told her something was wrong with him. But every little thing he did was registered somewhere... As if she got enough clues she would be able to state what he was without needing help. But, she was an Ishbalian... She knew nothing of anything outside her little world, or anything outside her religion.
Just promising that he wasn't going to kill her brought her worries up. Why would he need to promise for her safety? There should be no need to do that. Naturally, Aeron was a trusting person, till it came to alchemy. Anyone that wields the tabooed art, either to help or to hurt, doesn't deserve to be trusted. They were purposely walking on God's territory. But curiousity... it was getting the better of her. If he promised her safty... that should mean she was safe. And she wanted to know what this man was.

Wrath watched her shock and fear in admiration. Two emotions he's no longer permitted to feel. They stand along side love, pain, and sorrow. Death doesn't actually touch him either. Which is why he liked walking among people. Feeling out of place is better than feeling nothing at all. Or atleast to him. A whole lot of people would disagree.
His shoulder panged worse now. Maybe the backflip was overdoing it...a little. This was draining his energy. It was so stupid running out into the darkness. But he had to get away. That night was terrible. A shadow can't live in darkness and he knew that. So why.
He flinched and groaned as the bloodflow out of the wound quickened. Wrath glanced at the girl he breathed out hard as he collapsed to his knees. His body mind didn't rejister it as pain or death though. But his body did. He didn't realize that his eye's where pleading and begging for help. Help from this girl. In fact he didn't feel anything at all. He was just loosing control of his body.
"What's happening," he asked his voice hitting monotone. His eye's never left the girl. Wrath didn't feel anything.

He was enjoying this... He was enjoying this way to much. Her pain her suffereing... And it wasn't like she was giving out much of these emotions in the first place. It was natural for her to feeling like this... He was having fun with her natural human emotions. In some cases she could see how humans would find natural emotions entertaining... Usually either they were the psycopaths or the boyfriends that wanted to see how far they could push their girl before getting slapped. But this wasn't really the case, unless this man was a psycopath... which did make some sense.
But something was wrong with him. His once smug look had faded. That is what he got for trying to do more than his body was capable of. Maybe he was just human... Maybe he was just like her. But his body could handle much more than any she knew. The military was known for brave souls... not necessarily strong ones...
The collapse made her jump nearly out of her skin. He was really in trouble! Stupid man... Why did he push himself while he was hurt! Did he have a death wish! But the look in his eyes didn't seem that he wanted to die. Quickly Aeron pulled the bow on her apron and it came undone. The only thing she had was this. No amount of handkerchiefs could help him now. This was pushing her luck. First lost groceries, now a bloody apron. She's never going to be let out of the mansion again.

Wrath moved a little so the girl could wrap his shoulder properly. He didn't remove his eye's from the girl for a second. His body shuddered and he couldn't control it. He hated it. But the girl for some reason kept him calm. She didn't need to do this. Help him. Why would she? He did nothing but torment and taunt her this whole evening. He was utterly barbarick. Now here she was being nice to him. Maybe he could do a little in return once he healed. He owed her that much.
"Thank you I'll..." he cut himself off and moved slighly again so she could get it even better. His body shuddered even more and he growled a little at it. This was cutting Wrath's mentality to shreds. He couldn't even control his own body at the moment. But mainly he was angry cause his head wasn't letting him feel it. He breathed in and out deeply. "I'll explain to you masters," Wrath said closing his eye's.
He wanted so bad to ask her what he should be feeling right now. Wrath wanted to know what he was missing out on. What did pain feel like? He opened his eye's and glanced at her again. What was she feeling right now?

The apron cloth was too strong for Aeron. Which wasn't much of a surprise. Just because she could clean doesn't mean she had grown much muscle from it. But her heart was racing and the adrenalin coursed through her veins. To get the bottom of the apron to rip she had to take her teeth to it. Once a piece was torn off she dropped the apron and knelt next to him.
To stop bleeding.... How to stop bleeding.... Aeron searched her thoughts of the camp during the Eastern war. Many men were injured there. Her own 'friend' was among the wounded. And the universal way to stop bleeding was pressure. She took a deep breath to calm her own shaking nerves... it didn't help much. "This is going to hurt... So bare with me."
Her masters... That was the last thing she was worried about now. She only smiled to him trying to show that she heard him but didn't say nothing of it. If they didn't understand that she was helping an injured man... then... then she didn't know what she would do. But being that she has been with them for years there shouldn't be a problem. But... if there was a problem Aeron had to find another alternative fast.
She wrapped the makeshift bandage around his arm and hesitated as she looked in. The arrow was still inside. Her stomach lurched. There was no way she was going to be able to get that out... not without getting sick in the process... that or fainting. She closed her eyes and bound the wound as tight as she could. The white cloth quickly turned red from his blood. This was all she could do at the moment. He needed a hospital... or if that was out of the question, he needed to get out of middle of the street.

Wrath watched as Aeron struggled with the clothe. He was still very confused with what was happening. It was all a blurr. All he could do was watch while she wrapped. He felt no pain from it though she warned him. His body did though. He noticed that reaction. Since his heart has never raced this fast before.
Time began to stretch in wierd ways. Lerching forward and slowing way down. He has never felt this tired before. His eye lids sunk. "What's happening, to me," he asked but he didn't recognise his own voice. It sounded so young, helpless almost. He's never felt or sounded that way before.
Wrath felt his eye's droop. His body swayed a little. "I don't understand," he practically moaned. It was getting bad. But Wrath wanted to feel it. He wanted to know what his body was reacting to. But it was getting harder to stay awake his mouth was dry now to. "Know hosptital's," he said putting a hand on the girls shoulder to stay up.
