People mingled and talked, sold and bought, and simply just walked to whatever destination they were heading towards. A calming, pure wind of warm air blew through a head of light, plum colored hair. Not exactly the place that the young alchemist had in mind to visit, but here she was. She wanted to help out the people and learn of more alchemy. |

Kokora was in the alley way Chris walked into. He was holding his sword in one hand, and his hand over a wound in the other. He was low on stored energy. Most of it was used when he tried killing a guy in the outskirts of town, about 10 miles away. He did succeed in killing, but was low on stored energy and couldn't heal his wound, and because of that he couldn't drain his energy and that was why he killed him. He was leaning against the wall when a girl entered. Shit, did he somehow contact the police here about him during the fight, but why a girl, she doesn't seem strong, maybe she is just a wanderer. He tightened his grip on the sword in case she attacked.

Well, this was a perfect example of Chris getting herself into a bad situation, yet again, except more of a life-and-death sort of situation. First things that her mind got from the encounter were..
Sword. Wounded guy. Looks like he's going to attack.
Of course, if she ran out of the alleyway, he'd probably come chasing after her and that would not do, oh no, it wouldn't. So Chris simply stayed put, thinking quickly of what to do.
"...Uh, I'm not going to do anything, uh.. are you okay?"[/b] |

Kokora looked at the dimwitted girl. So she isn't after me, that's a relief. Kokora looked at her and said "Yes, I'm ok, and if you don't do anything stupid to attack me, you won't be killed." He toke his hand off his chest were the wound was. It stopped bleeding, but any big movements would re-open it, and that would cause him to lose to much blood and won't be able to get back to research soon enough. "So, Girl, you an alchemist or something?"

Chris made a promise to herself to help out everyone she could, but did it include men that looked like they were just in a battle between life and death? Hmmm.. Yeah. She set herself out to help out anyone for a reason. But anyone included anyone. Well, besides psychopath killers. Hm.
She had a few options. Run, possibly getting killed, stay, healing the guy and potentially saving her life.. for now, and finally forget how to transmute all of a sudden.[/b] |

Kokora looked at the girl. "An alchemist in Central huh, you Poona be become part of the State or Something?" He didn't care either way, the state be after him sooner or alter, but by then, he would have accomplished immortality, something better than even the Philosophers stone. "So, do you believe in the philosophers stone?" If she did, that would be ok with him, after all, she might help him in his search for Immortality in some in direct way.
