Katsura stretched out her legs... or rather leg, since only one of them was real. She had fallen asleep while helping some orphan sisters in a small alley. Seeing that they too were napping happily, she quietly swept out of the alley and reached into her back pocket, pulling out a few bills which was unfortunately all she had at the moment, but she could go without lunch for a day, these kids needed it more than her.
Retracing her steps back to HQ, she shuttered when she thought of what her superiors would yell at her this time. It wasn't unusual for her to help lost children or animals, especially animals, but it probably wasn't a good thing that she had yet again angered several people, more specifically farmers, by "accidentally" pressurizing oxygen over the crops (which wasn't supposed to blow them up but did) and then proceeding to try and fix it using alchemy, which did not work and only made the farmers even more angry because they didn't know what the heck she was doing. She let out a sigh, and trudged her way towards the library. She could at least procrastinate for a few hours before she went back to face her superiors, which was definitely something she would love to put off. She walked into her favorite section in a secluded corner with books on transmutation of heavy elements, which was something she desperately needed to figure out, and plucked a book out of the shelf and sat in a corner.

After reading for as long as she could stand it, Katsura put the book back on the shelf. Her eyes swept across the room to the tall window. It was starting to get dark out and she knew that the longer she waited, the louder whatever officer was sent to tell her how badly she screwed up this time would yell at her. "why did I become a stupid state alchemist anyways" she muttered to herself, remembering the days when all she wanted to learn was alchemy and all she ever wanted to do was bring back her family... or at least her brother. She shook her head no, I can't think like that! Human transmutation is forbidden and it doesn't work she thought.
Walking towards the door, she glanced at the librarian who was watching her walk by. "what?" she growled at him, and he quickly went back to arranging the books he was dealing with. Katsura smirked. He probably had almost mistaken her for a different state alchemist, which wouldn't make much sense because one, she was a girl, and two there would have been at least one other person with her. She opened the door and started on her way to HQ. Better she get it over with now than later.
