Katsura trudged to central station. She figured a ticket anywhere would work, as long as it was in a place with lots of plants. If she could manage to manipulate plants using gasses in the air, then she could go back to hq and tell that dumb general to stuff it. No, she wouldn't just try, she would succeed. head held high in a new rush of hope, she marched forward into the station. It didn't help that she had never been to Central Station before, and being too stubborn and sure-footed to ask for directions, she soon got lost among the crowds of people. "should've just used those corn fields on the edge of town," she muttered to herself, then remembered how she had managed to blow up the entire field last time and decided that that was definitely something she did NOT want to repeat. The Fuhrer would know about her mistake once he managed to sort through all his paperwork, but if she did it again, she doubted he would have been so... well he wasn't nice, but at least she managed to leave without having to confess her dumbest mistake yet to probably the most powerful person in the military. Snapping back to her situation, she managed to find herself wandering in an underground section of the station. The weird thing was that no one was there... and it was dark. "how did I manage to get here" Katsura wondered aloud, looking around for an exit. A strange tunnel that looked like it had been scratched out by some kind of creature caught her interest. However. some sparks at the end of the tunnel caught her interest more. Going to the entrance, she kept one hand on the side of the tunnel since it was too dark to see in there. She took a few steps before managing to slip on something wet and fall. Her automail leg made a weird cracking sound, which worried her, but before she had time to check if it was still working, a hand grabbed her by the waist from behind, the other hand holding something cold against her head, likely a gun. "well what's this? The military sent a little girl to bust us? At least we can have some fun with her before we kill her" The one who had grabbed her announced, and by what katsura could tell, about four others laughed "Let me go or I'll kill you all! I'll make the air in your lungs so dense that it'll strangle you from the inside and tear them apart!" Katsura said as she struggled "I don't think so, I'm the one with a gun to your head. Try that on me and you're dead too" Katsura could hear the clicking of several more guns. "What do you want? Why are you doing this? What are you doing here in the first place?" "That's a lot of questions for someone whose about to die Carefully moving her left hand in between the gun and her head, Katsura sighed "Alright then, shoot." More laughs. She hated when people did that. She didn't want to take the bait and ask why they were laughing, but it really was getting annoying. Suddenly the hands holding her let go and pushed her forward. At that moment, a small lantern flickered on. She could see that she was surrounded and that her automail didn't look like it would work anymore. Trying to move her foot, she found that she still could, but she wasn't sure how much longer it would hold up. She needed a distraction. She couldn't do anything with alchemy since she was surrounded, but anything would work. Until then, she was in a pretty bad spot.

Braydon had decided that for he wanted to be around people that day. Unfortunately he had changed his mind as he entered the city. This happened a lot of times and he would end up prowling always angrily until either night fell and there were less people around or he felt like leaving. Today instead of an ally his chosen refuge had been under the train station. As it turned out this was not the best place to avoid human contact seeing as there were humans down there.
'At least we can have some fun with her before we kill her'
He heard it as he was coming down the stairs. And the rage that always followed such statements flowed through his veins.
It was dark but that didn't bother him, the darkness never did. It took him a very short time to find the humans especially after a lantern was lit. He watched as they pushed a girl to the ground. They had guns aimed at her. Humans were such despicable creatures.
Braydon walked forward in to the light. His eyes gleaming orange and his red hair shining. "so who wants to die first?" he asked.

Katsura watched as a boy who looked to be about her age stepped into the light. She wasn't expecting another person to be the distraction she was looking for, but that worked as well as anything. After he spoke, she could hear them laugh and turn their guns towards him. Katsura quickly pushed up her sleeve, revealing an aray engraved into the metal plate on her automail arm, an aray that she had specialized for her air alchemy. "Wrong answer!" Katsura chirped, crossing her palms over the ground, and sending up a huge splash of dirt into her attacker's faces, then managed to grab the closest one's gun, and held out her palms towards another. A shock of her white alchemy shot through his chest and left him gasping for breath. She did this to one more of them and then pain shot through her shoulder. She hadn't gotten shot, but the bullet grazed her shoulder. She managed to partially deflect another shot which did the same thing before shooting her gun at the third thug.

Idiot girl. She was making things complicated. Now he would have to watch out for her as well. Why couldn't she be like other girls he had found in these situation and scream and run away... no she was going to fight the thugs.
Her growled angrily and lunged at one of the men. He could easily kill them all by himself. He dodged bullets and reached the closest man. His hand went around the mans throat and easily crushed his windpipe.

After seeing their comrades die in the few minutes that Katsura and the guy were fighting, the remaining two thugs ran off into the tunnel. She was expecting them to have put up more of a fight, but considering the fact that her leg was probably about to fall apart, it was a good thing that she didn't have to fight much. Drawing a basic transmutation circle in the dirt, Katsura put her hands on it and managed to reinforce the crack in her automail. It wasn't a good job since she could only do very basic alchemy with heavy elements, but it would last her until she could get to a mechanic, assuming she didn't kick walls. She walked over to the strange person standing next to her and peeked at his face. His eyes were practically glowing orange and his hair was bright red, which reminded her of fire. "I'm Katsura, thanks for helping me, I'm sure it wouldn't have gone well if you hadn't showed up" She hated to admit it, but he did help her out. "hey what are you doing here anyway?" It was weird enough that anyone was here in the first place, but obviously he wasn't part of the gang which was hanging around. She reminded herself that she might not be out of danger yet and made sure not to let her guard down.

Braydon was about to chase the two that escaped when the girl came over to him. He thought a few inappropriate words. He wanted to kill them. They deserved to die.
He didn't answer her name with his own. And for all he said her thanks should have been saved for someone who cared. The last question he was going to answer just so that she wouldn't get angry and annoy him. " I felt like being alone." Obviously that hadn't happened. He clenched his fist in anger. Voices were sounding in his head. Screams of agony and fear. Someone he wanted to protect. But he had no idea who she was. she just kept screaming in his head.

Katsura tilted her head to the side and shifted her weight so that she could look up at the boy's face. What she noticed immediately shocked her and made her flinch backwards, but she quickly regained her balance "You're...." Now she was definitely not going to leave him alone. Her first thought was that it was possible, and that she might be able to bring her brother back, and a small smile softened her face, but then her attention was drawn to the fact that he looked like he was in pain. She didn't think that Humunculi could feel pain. He wasn't bleeding, but there was definitely something wrong. He looked angry and confused... and almost scared, just like her brother just before she had... "You can remember who you were, can't you" She stated suddenly, staring at the ground. Her hair fell in front of her face. She told herself that now wasn't the time to be nostalgic. This humunculi probably wouldn't even answer her and probably just try to kill her. She should have walked away, but she couldn't now, she didn't know when the next time she would find a living example of human alchemy, and she needed to know.

He looked over at the girl. Something about him seemed to frighten her... well that was good maybe now she would go away.
No such luck. She continued to talk. What did she mean? who he used to be..... he didn't used to be anyone. He was Breydon according to what he had found in what he assumed to be the place he had lived. HE didn't know what happened there but there was no used to be... even with out certain memories you didn't just transform in to another person... Even if you were something not human. And he knew that he wasn't human that had been the one thing he had been sure of the moment he had woken up.
"I have no idea what your talking about." The screaming was gone for the moment and the fit of rage was fading. His nails still dug in to his skin but it didn't hurt so he continued clenching his fist.

Katsura clenched her own fist. She thought that he knew what she was talking about, but apparently this poor homunculus didn't know the truth. "When an alchemist tries to bring someone back from the dead, a new being is created, but not the one that they were trying to bring back... or at least that's what I've read. Homunculi are not human, but they resemble the one that was trying to be brought back. I've thought about it. A lot, actually, but it's forbidden and I know that there's a reason why. I can tell you're a homunculus because of your eyes. None of them ever have eyes like normal humans, that and the fact that you could dodge those bulletts. There's no way you're anything but a homunculus." Katsura raised her head and looked straight into his eyes with a determined, unwavering gaze "Who are you?"

he glowered at her. She wasn't going away like he had hoped. He didn't doubt what she was saying. He just didn't really care. All he had wanted was to be alone in this stupid city that he'd come to thinking he wanted to be around people.
"Breydon. there now will you go away and leave me alone." Stupid humans this is why he stayed far far away most of he time.

Katsura ground her teeth and drew in a breath to start yelling, but was interrupted by a yell coming from further down in the tunnel. It looked like she wasn't going to get the answers she wanted, at least not yet. "Shouldn't have let them go" she muttered to herself before rocketing down the tunnel. When she came to the end, a bright light blinked on, stinging her eyes and revealing a huge, crude metal box attached to a mass of tangled wires. One of the thugs ran over to her and attempted to punch her, but he was slow and clumsy. She easily dodged him and then kicked him down. "It's too late, once I light those wires, this whole station will come crashing down." The thug pulled out a match and bent down to light the wires. The quickest thing Katsura could think of to do was to change the oxygen density in his lungs and knock him unconscious. The match fell from his hands and the wires caught fire. Now all she had to do was put the fire out. Easy enough with alchemy, but as soon as she stopped the fire by moving the carbon monoxide emitted from the fire around it, a hand closed around her neck. The other thug had gotten up and sneaked up on her when she was dealing with the fire.

The next few words that came to Breydon's mind were very colorful and offensive. The idiotic girl. She was trying to get herself killed. And why should he care? He shouldn't. And yet, he couldn't just stand here and let her get slaughtered. Not by THOSE men. As he thought of them the rage that had been going away came back full force. He wanted to tear their heads off. And all for one little phrase that one of them ad said. But it echoed in his ears just like all the other times he ended up killing men like them.
He hurried in to the tunnel after her and lucky for her he decided to go when he had. One of them was unconscious but the other one had her by the neck. In an instant his hand closed around the thugs own neck and cut off his supply of air. " You have three seconds before I snap your neck." he growled.

Katsura dropped to the floor as soon as the thug's air supply was cut off. She was more relieved than she was annoyed at the homunculus since he had just saved her butt again... but then again, she probably could have managed if he hadn't come along... just maybe not as well. She knew it was stupid to travel alone, especially since she seemed to get into trouble more often than not, but someone else would just slow her down and she didn't want that. Gulping several deep breaths, she stood back up and walked over to the bomb, putting her hands on the metal and after a few moments and the sound of creaking metal, she appeared satisfied and walked in the opposite direction. "I know you won't care if I thank you, so instead I'll just leave you alone like you wanted." she continued walking until she could almost see the dimly lit tunnels "And the next time you want to be alone, don't come to central station" she muttered to herself, not expecting her voice to echo into an audible whisper. oops... time to go! she thought, picking up her pace and running up the stairs, back to the crowded platform.
