Basic Information
Name: Winzig (Tiny) Gewalt (Ascendancy)
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Physical: Due to being infused with a squirrel, becoming a chimera, Winzig is but a mere three feet and two inches in height. From a regular standpoint he appears to be a young child at the age of about four or five. Often times he is adored by ‘adults’ and is claimed to be ‘cute’ and ‘adorable.’ These remarks infuriate Winzig considering the fact that he is actually twenty-six and should not be called ‘cute’ anymore. His squirrel-like features give him pointy ears that extend outward, being much longer than the average size of human ears. He also has a brown nose that resembles that of a squirrel’s. The rest of his features are generally normal. He has short, shaggy brown hair and chocolate brown eyes to match. From day-to-day life he wears a white lab coat and a purple-blue undershirt. Grey gloves, pants, and shoes accompany his odd attire.
Personality: Winzig’s main goal in life is simplistic in nature. His only dream is… TO DESTROY EVERYONE! But sadly he is only 3’2”. He tries everything possible to act maniacal and vicious; from hitting people in the shins, to attempting to inflict fear into the souls of everyone. But honestly, how is a small little guy like him supposed to destroy everyone? This very fact drives Winzig insane and makes him act crazy at times. He is a very hyper fellow and has too much energy for his own good, partially due to being a squirrel chimera. He absolutely HATES being told that he is ‘cute,’ ‘a child,’ or ‘pathetic.’ If one thing drives him mad the most, its being treated as though he isn’t as good or as strong as someone else. Even if a task could easily kill him because of his height, he still attempts to succeed. No matter what the obstacle in his life, Winzig tries with all of his might to conquer and prevail.
History(opt): From an early age Winzig had been overly interested in the ordeals of alchemy. He dreamed each night when he was young that he would grow up to be a strong state alchemist who could be a true leader. During the hot sunny days of summer he would spend countless hours practicing alchemy with his father and younger brother. Even when his father would decide that they should take a break Winzig wanted to continue practicing. Each evening he would fall fast asleep in his warm bed after a long day of ‘work.’ Alchemy truly was his one and only passion at the time.
As Winzig grew older he began learning more advanced alchemy with an elderly mentor named Kurieu Maenata. Every other day he would run into town and meet with his mentor to learn and practice. These teenage years seemed to pass by very quickly in the eyes of Winzig. He enjoyed every minute of his lessons and almost seemed obsessed.
Only three years after Winzig had begun training did his mentor pass away due to old age. Devastation overtook Winzig and he could hardly face alchemy for nearly a year. Once he reached the age of seventeen he got reacquainted with the joys of alchemy and began to search for even deeper advances in the art. Once again the flame of his childhood dream was rekindled.
At the age of twenty Winzig had gained a rather large amount of knowledge towards alchemy considering he was from a small town and had little time to train with an accomplished mentor. He loved helping the townsfolk with day-to-day tasks, making their lives a little bit easier and a little more enjoyable. The people became very fond of Winzig and were very glad to see him walk by each day. They were proud of him and the entire town seemed like a second family to him.
One day, as Winzig was running an errand, he was mugged and abducted by a strange and ominous group. He was taken to an odd place that was very dark and humid to his memory. Most of his experience seemed blurred because he had been knocked out of consciousness. The mysterious group kept him for several days and eventually performed a forbidden alchemy upon his body. For only the sake of experimentation it seemed, Winzig’s body was fused with that of a simple brown squirrel. This illicit alchemy created a chimera in the place of what had been a young man and a small creature.
A few days after the alchemy was performed ‘Winzig’ was thrown out onto the dirt roads. His mind was dazed from the entire experience and he could barely walk or even stand up for the first day. He eventually gained a level-head and tried to recollect what had happened to him. His mind sparked and he remembered that he had been gone for multiple days. His family must have been worried to tears. But what was he to do in this current state? He caught a glimpse of his reflection in a puddle and was horrified. The young man who was growing into a full-fledged adult was now changed into some monster… a beast in his own eyes… a mistake and a deformation. He realized that there was no possible way that he could show his face to his family, let alone anyone of his small town. He would surely be shunned from their society and exiled from their existence. No, going back was NOT an option for him. The rest of his life would have to be lived out in a different verve. He gathered his thoughts and headed off in the opposite direction of his town, never to return and disgrace his family.
The intense amount of stress that was impacted on Winzig from that point on seemed to distort his mind and being. Rather than acting as a kind and helpful young gentleman, he became more aggressive and more infuriated with the world. These thoughts became actions and he came to despise much of human existence. His alchemy was also distorted through these experiences. He no longer had any desire whatsoever of becoming a state alchemist. Alchemy was merely a tool in his plans for destruction at this point. His new goal in life was to destroy all and prevail over all of the people who treated him wrongly. The only difficulty with his plans was the issue of him now being much smaller in size and much weaker in that aspect. His squirrel characteristics did however grant him the ability of much quicker speed and the ability to easily climb objects. He was much more agile and was now very swift and sleek. He could jump effortlessly and now had incredible vision, including vivid color vision of an enormous array of colors.
The new Winzig is overall aggressive, stubborn, maniacal, a bit crazy, and VERY energetic. With his newly formed aspirations Winzig is prepared to face the world with a new outlook. But, will the many distractions of ignorant humans infuriate him to the boiling point? Will he succeed with his goals? Will he ever be treated as more than just an ‘adorable little child?!’
Abilities
Specialty: Swift and agile, Winzig can move fast and both climb and leap effortlessly. His vision is superb and he can see colors that a normal human cannot. His light structure allows him to move quickly and his small size gives him a greater amount of evasion from sight.
