Why they sent him out alone he didn't know? Plus, with a list of all things! They didn't even tell him what was on it! So what the heck was he looking for? Tas scratched the back of his head as he clutched the list. "This is so stupid," he whispered looking around in the darkness. He wasn't used to it yet, he still couldn't catch things by sound, smell, or feel. His sense's were still like a normal human's except for his sight. So they didn't work very well in this situation.
Atleast he had got himself here. Wherever here was? He licked his lips as he switched his wieght from one foot to the other. He felt akward. All he knew to get was bread....and they gave him a list. He needed someone to help....and he needed it now. "Can someone help me?" he asked into the darkness. Hoping he didn't find himself in an empty ally or someplace like that.

Miyu walked along the streets of central. Her long chesnut hair was pulled up into two pigtails tied by red ribbions that blended in her hair. She had a soft pink turtle neck on as the sleeves were lightly to long for her asthey hung over her palms. She had a black pleaded skirt on as reached her knees. She had a pir of black and pink striped socks as they reached a few inches below her knees. On her feet were a pair of black doll shoes as they had a pink decal on them. In her arms was her wonderful rabbit that she carried around everywhere, his name was E-chan and she loved him ever so much. She was very small for a 'sixteen' year ld girl, even though in reality she was older then that, she stood at a petite five foot two inches.
Miyu stopped as she heard a voice. She walked over to see a very tall man, he was asking for help. "Um.. excse me sir.. .I can help you if you's like..." Miyu said in her soft voice as she looked up to him. He was very tall more then a foot taller. He was a bit scary but she felt that it wouldn't hurt to answer his plea. None the less she was still a bit worried around him as she hugged her rabbit to her...

Tas almost gave up on finding anyone to help. It was almost imposible to find someone willing to help someone like him since it was obvious he was Ishvalan and they were 'Barbarians'. But then he head a small feminine voice. He tilted his head toward the direction he thought it came from and smiled. Tas has always given his big smiles freely. "Sure, I need all the help I can get," he replied sighing in relief. This time someone actually stopped to help. Which made him glad.
"First," he said with a pause and he bit his lower lip. "I know I need bread, but I can't really," Tas paused again. "See, where the bakery is...none the less read the read of the list," he said smiling again as he handed the list into midair. This is the part he hated. Not being able to see where he was handing things to. It made him seem idiotic. He hated that feeling but never showed it.

Miyu smiled lightly he seemed to be nice, the way he smiled made it seem he was no threat."Um.. can you not see sir?" She asked politly still on a moderatly low tone. She looked at the paper he held out. She reached out as she took the paper lightly from him. She looked over the list. "You are right... you do need bread..." Miyu said with a smirk looking up to her. "I know my way around.. I can help you..." Miyu added with a smile looking up to him. She was curious as to who would give a blind person a list, must be a real stupid person..

Tas smiled awkwardly and scratched the back of his head again. "Ya I'm kinda blind so...," he shrugging his shoulders. It held him back so bad because he was so self concious of it, it almost hurt. He didn't like people feeling sorry for him just because he couldn't see like everyone else.
Tas smiled again when she said she would help. "They actually told me that one," he said with a laugh. Again who would give a blind person a list. "And think you for helping me to," he said getting excited. He liked meeting people. It wasn't always easy for him because of what he is. But when it was he enjoyed it. "Oh and I almost forgot," he said remembering his manners. "I am Tas," he said making a short bow. He bowed instead of shook hands since bowing never actually made him feel inferior. Shaking hand's did.

"I see..." Miyu said with a smirk. She had nothing against blind people, when she was younger she had a friend who was blind. They were no different then anyone else. "T'hey told you that but nothing else.. don't they know you can't read...?' Miyu asked in a kind manner. She didn't want to sound rude wile talking about this, he seemed very sensitive of it.
"You're welcome.. I like to help people and I wasn't really doing much else.." She said in a low tone as she hugged her rabbit closer with as smile. She was happy she could help someone, she liked to help people seeing hos she had been helped before. A lot of times becuase she couldn't reach something.Oh... I'm sorry I forgot as well..My name is Miyu (Me-u) It's a pleasure to meet you.. she said happily...

Tas laughed. "Yeah pretty stupid isn't it, but if they wanted to mentally torture me this was the thing to do it," he said. After a second he reconsidered. That might have been actually hurtful. "I meant that I'm not comfortable with telling people about my eyesight, or even better lack-of eyesight," he said rubbing the back of his head again. It's what he did when he was uncomfortable. Right now he was definatly uncomfortable. Atleast he didn't have to tell her how he got, well blinded. That might actually end badly.
Then he smiled. "Miyu's a pretty name," he said with a nodd. It was a lot beter than his three letter name Tas. huha. In this whole comotion he almost forgot that he had to do the gorcery list thing still. So he blushed. "Geez your good at distracting people from stuff they don't want to do," he said sighing in anguish((<~I like that word)). "We better get started, you do have to lug me behind," he said shaking his head. He hated being a burden to people. That's all he's been since that last time he ran away...A burden.

"yeah.. i guess so.." Miyu said with a smile. She looked up to him with a smirk. "You shouldn't be afraid to tell people... if you don't you only make it harder on yourself and those around you.." She said holding her bunny tighter to her as it was only in her right arm as she had the list in the left hand. She continued to look up to him as he spoke. She blushed slightly."Oh.. um thank you...my mother picked it.." She said a bit awkwardly as she was blushing still. "I'm sorry... let's get going then.." She said with a nod before glancing to the paper.
"Well it won't be hard if you hold my hand.. I can direct you that way.. but you would have to hold my rabbit for me... I can't hold your hand and look at the list easily with him in my arm, anyways I don't want to squish him..." She said as she grabbed his hand with her right hand, his hand was much bigger then her's. She held her rabbit awkwardly with her left hand well the list was in between two of her fingers. "Here take him.. his name is E-chan and please be careful with him.." she said pushing the stuffed animal against his stomach so he could find it...

Tas shrugged and made a funny face. "I guess I don't like being belittled," he said jokingly. There was actually no way you could be little him since he always pretended he was taller than everyone. But most people he knew he was taller than. But when he didn't he atleast thought that way. "Even though that doesn't explain anything much does it," he added with a frown. It didn't and he knew that. He was terrible at explaining things.
"Hold your hand," he said pausing. He made a thinking face but he didn't actually think about it. He knew it was basically the only way already. "Well all right and I'll take good care of your bunny," he said with a big smile. This was only of the time's he could be a kid agian. so he'd make the most of it. "We'll have tea parties and grand ball's oh and I have to get her ready," he said laughing not mockingly but nicely. He took the bunny with his right hand and hugged it to his chest. "Hello E-chan, I'm Tas, me and you will be the best of friends," he proclaimed as Miyu led him away.

"No one can belittle you.. you are too big.." Miyu said with a slight laugh. So what if he coudn't see, it really didn't matter and he shouldn't be treated differently to some extend. He did need to be treated a bit differently but only in someways. Ok Miyu was confusing herself at this point of thought. She looked up to him as he too kthe rabbit. She smiled lightly,"Well E-chan doesn't like tea actually.." Miyu said with a smirk as she was kind of playing along. She may have acted a bit young but she was to old for tea parties. She was basically sixteen mentally even though she acted and look twelve. She continued to walk down the street as she held his hand. She looked at the list as she headed for the bakery...

Tas smiled and laughed at that. It was obvious that he was taller than her now. "Hey being small's cool to, if people don't say duck I hit my head on a lot of things," Tas said with a laugh. It sucked since it gave him huge headache's.
"Oh okay, we'll just go for coffee then," he said with a shrug. He liked coffee better anyway. Sure it might be more bland, but it was a lot better. Gave him energy to live threw out the day. When he didn't accidently burn himself.

"Well it's not easy being short sometimes..." Miyu said with a small smile. "us small people can reach things that are up hig ad we get mistaken as younger then we are a lot.." Miyu said as she walked. She could smell the bakery as they got closer. "Coffee you say.. I've had it before and I like it with lots of cream and sugar.." She smiled.
"We ar almost at the bakery can you smell the bread?" She asked kindly as she walked. She looked over to her rabbit for a moment. He semed to be oing a very good job at keeping it nice...

"Hey I guess this works out then hmm," he said tilting his head toward the little girl. "Since I'm extrodinarily tall...and your able to see," he said with a smile. It did work out now he could help her in return as long as she gave good directions to were the high thing was. He was an extremely good listener.
"Bluh, I preffer my coffee black," Tas said. But that was all he ever had. It was all his 'masters' ever allowed him to drink. Black Coffee. So he grew used to it. "But I guess coffe is coffee no matter what color it is," he said with a shrug.
When Miyu said they were close. Tas smelt the air. "Yea I smell it," he replied with a smile. They were close.

"Don't worry.. there aren't many high things around here luckily.." Miyu said with a smile. She was use to the streets around here she traveled them a lot. "Hmm...well I guess I'm still a kid when it comes to that... speaking of that how old are you?" Miyu asked kindly as she looked up to him.
She turned the corneras she could see the bakery sign, she smiled slightly. She looked at the sign tell it was way to high for him to hit off it. IT was at the top of the building hanging off the roof. "We are here..." Miyu said with a smile as she walked up the the door opening it. "Watch the door way now..you might be too talk.." Miyu said as she walked toward the counter. Why hello Ms. Fairaway.. I didn't expect to see you today.. The women at the counter said with a smile. "Well my friend need to do some shoping today.." Miyu said with a smile gesturing to Tas. "Of course how my I help you today?" the women asked...

Tas chuckled. "I'm about...," Tas thought about it. Calculating time since it seemed to move differently for him since he got captured. "About 24," he said feeling drastically old all of a sudden. "How bout you," he asked ducking down for the door.
Tas got slightly confused when he heard the other person. When did she come along? He clutched Miyu's rabit tighter. He felt uncomfortable again. "Um...I uh," he studdered at the loss of words when presented with a question. "Bread," he proclaimed farly loudly. "3," he said a little confused. This wasn't coming out right. Not right at all.
