There is no way he can sneak his way through this one...
Two guards stood lazily at the doors of Central Library, the library that only allows State Alchemists in. Rumor has it that the library has almost every alchemist book known to the world and some of those books can only be found in that extensive library. Back in Central... There is no way he could pose as Edward Elric... Last time he was nearly executed with his brother... Which reminds him... where did he run off to today? But the last time he has seen the Fullmetal was nearly four years now... So much for him coming back alive!
The wind picked up and rushed his blond hair in front of his face. There was no point staying here looking at the library he couldn't even hope to see... Well... There was one way...
Russell Tringham turned with his hands in his pockets and slowly head off. There was only one way he could get into that library... But being a dog of the military wasn't what he had in mind.

Ok so maybe running an extra mile had not be a good idea. Adi came to an abrupt halt feeling like her lungs were on fire. "And here I thought I was in shape." she sighed in disappointment. "oh well." Her breathing slowly calmed and she looked around to see how far she had gotten. She was in front of the Central library. That doesn't do me any good I can't go in there. she continued to view the area she loved watching people. standing in front of the library was a blond guy she had never seen before. Well this day turned out alright after all! When he started to walk away she rushed after him. "Hey! Your new around here right? Or are you just visiting?"

Well, he has nothing better to do... Like always. He might as well go back to the hotel room and study some old work till Fletcher came home. Where they will go after that he didn't know exactly... Perhaps he had and idea. Or... maybe I should talk to him about taking the State Alchemist Exam...
Russell usually doesn't expect people to talk to him unless he started it... But this girl flipped that all backward. A slightly jolt came to him as she rushed her sentence. He turned to the girl. A cheery thing she was... "I guess you can say I was just visiting."
He didn't need to bother stating that he was born and raised here. Few people actually know that though. Only his brother and Belsio over in Xenotime.

She gave him a huge smile. "Well then. Welcome to Central! So are you just visiting the town or do you have relatives or maybe your just passing through?" She sped through all of this and it looked like she was ready to start hopping up and down like an excited child at any moment. "Oh! I'm being rude I'm sorry! my names Adi." She flashed another giant grin and offered him a hand, cheerily waiting for him to introduce himself.

And he thought his brother got hyper... This girl... Adi did she say her names was? Took it over the top. But he had nothing to do so he had no reason to just leave... That would be rude, more so than what said. "Russell Tringham..." His name was known to all the military now anyway. And besides... The Fullmetal was as good as dead to him. He took her hand politely and have it a shake once before letting go.
His younger brother he had seen once or twice between these past four years though. He looked just like Ed and if he didn't notice before it was to late he probably would have punched him for making him wait.
"Just visiting... I don't have any relatives that live here." At least any more...

"Oh. so then you haven't been here in a while have you?" She plowed on ahead not deterred at all. Her mood was improving if that was at all possible. I'm so glad I decided to run that extra mile! "So you were admiring the Library?"

Russell never really liked the game twenty questions... At least not in the way this game is being played. But... the girl was probably bored and so was he at the present time so it made no difference. And it depends on what she means by a while. His brother and himself have been living in a hotel room for about a week now... doing different random jobs to pay for rent and any rare book they could find. If ever one was looking for a book... Central was the place to look first.
"I'm not a State Alchemist... So it doesn't matter if I was or not." If he thought about the State Alchemists one more time in the next five minutes he would sign up to take that exam... Of course this was just out of frustration that he can't go into that library.

She Sighed, "I Know what a waste right? all those perfectly good books and only state alchemist can read them. hardly anyone shows up here at all." She sighed again and swept a long dark strand of hair out of her eyes. For a few moments she looked actually quiet moody but then her eyes lit up. "If your looking for books I know the best place around to get them! Well for those of us who aren't allowed in the Library anyway." The giant smile returned to her face as she said this excitedly.

There wasn't one bookstore in Central that Russell thought he missed... So he probably been to the place she spoke of. It was rather disappointing. Most of the books avalible to the public he has read already... or they are asking a price he would willingly pay if he had the money. Money... He was suppose to find a job today to pay for tonights bills... Maybe that is why he can't find Fletcher anywhere...
His brother never seemed to like it when he took all the responsibility on himself. Father seemed to be the exact same way. They tell Fletcher not to do Alchemy... he does it anyway... Russell tells Fletcher not to worry about the money... he does anyway... But if it wasn't for him they probably would be a lot worse off.

She waited patiently while he thought, or at least as patiently as she could. it was hard for her to stand still for very long. First she messed with the strand of hair that had returned to being in her face. then she fidgeted a little bit. this has to look so rude it hasn't even been that long. JUST STAND STILL! she was going to go insane if one of them didn't say something! "It's the best store ever! We just got this huge shipment of new books. uh I guess huge isn't the right word considering it's a small shop. But the owner just got back from a long trip and brought a lot of strange books with him so we got more than we usually do." She was talking extremely fast and extremely cheerfully again but it was just something that happened naturally whenever she got excited.

A few hours wouldn't hurt... He'll find a way to get the money by tonight... "Are you always this hyper?" He asked not yet answering her previous question. In a weird way he didn't want to look at books at the moment, just because right now he knew that it wouldn't help him that much. There has to be more to life then reading books...
He turned to the ground where he saw a piece of cobblestone that had freed itself from the ground. It sat there tempting him till he finally gave in and kicked it. The pebble flew through the air and skipped across the ground three times before rolling to a stop. "I have something I need to be doing... But I can spare a few hours... If your selection is as good as you say." This came out more evil then he really wanted to... but what was said was said.

Another smile, it was almost her only facial expression. "Oh it is. good prices too! it probably won;t take you a few hours to look through it though. Like I said its a small store." She was about ready to dance in excitement. not only do I get to help him out but she get to bring a customer to the store! " So if its not to rude to ask what did you need to do?" There was never an end to her curiosity she couldn't help it even if she did step on a lot of peoples toes that way.

She enjoyed bothering him... And with her attitude is seemed that she was just looking for more customers... This might be a very disappointing trip. None the less he said he was going to go and he wasn't going to go back on his word. What he was looking for... He didn't really know. Anything dealing with alchemy he looked into... though... he found his studies have always gone to one thing... "Nothing in particular..." he said intruppting his own thoughts. He stopped staring at the pebble and turned to Adi. She still had that smile on her face... It was slightly unnerving him now...

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to pry. I've been trying to work on that but I usually have all these questions and they just sort of come out before I think. sorry." She hadn't meant to offend him mostly she was just trying to make conversation. "I guentee that you'll find at least one thing that interest you at the store though. The owner doesn't waste time on ordinary books."

Was it just because he is him that Adi was this wound up? It could be possible... Thus makinger her seem a bit more normal. To another these questions probably wouldn't have been so bad... Probably if she was talking to his brother they wouldn't have been so bad. He tends to give more information than he needs to give. But he knows that Fletcher knew when to stop talking on a subject. "How many Biographies do you have on Edward Elric?" After a year of Edward being gone it seemed that thirty authors thought they knew all that Edward did... All of them seemed to be missing the small towns where he made the biggest impact. Actually, a good majority of those books had a lot of false information because they had all the reasons wrong... Russell only read the first few chapters of one before wanting to turn it into plant fertilizer.
