Red water... No one really knew what red water was exactly and what it can cause... Only a few probably do... Like the military and out of them very few. At least it didn't seem like she knew what red water was or what it did. so memories can really be painful can't they? Only one without memories could say that... But... She did say that? Did this girl live an innocent life? Or is it that all the people he knew lived horrible ones... "That is an odd question..." His voice didn't fix from when he spoke earlier... But at least he was able to talk now. She had already apologized for asking the question, but now that she asked Russell wanted to know.

She looked down. " I guess it is isn't it." Now she'd done it not only had she pryed in to his problems by accident now she was going to bother him with hers. She wished she knew ware to draw the line when she was speaking just once it would be nice to feel normal and understand peoples personal boundaries. "I just... I wouldn't know." She explained

If Russell had the wish to get even he might have just succeeded right there. This girl was different. But it wasn't a normal different. But what was he to say about it? He nearly just broke into pieces just because his name was in a book. "If you don't want to tell you don't have to. I'm not going to explain what bothered me." Slowly he attempted to stand and felt his brain cloud up slightly. He hesistated a moment wondering if he should just stay down longer...

"Thats OK I didn't expect you to. People have things that they don't want other people to know. It's only natural. I'm just not normal. The earliest memories I have are from a year ago. So I keep forgetting that some people don't necessarily want to talk about certain things. I keep getting ahead of myself. Really all I was trying to do was help. i just can't think like a normal person." She looked up at the sky.

Russell wasn't going to explain and she knew he wasn't going to explain. He slumped back down to the ground. There wasn't a rush for him to move so he wasn't going to. Adi... only had a years worth of memories? And he thought he had it bad. There was a difference of having something bad done to one self and remembering it then not. Nothing in the world would make him want to forget what he has done... the only thing he wished was that it wouldn't haunt him like it has been...
She just explained herself... He in a sense said don't do it... but she does anyway. Well, Sorry Adi... you're not going to get anything back in return. "It must have been bad... whatever caused you to loose your memory..." his voice was coming back strong again... It still had some tints that something had bothered him... but it was nowhere as bad as it was before.

"The Lady that found me thinks it was my head injury and the fact that I half way drowned." She stretched and looked around. " Sorry. it's way to nice of a day to be depressed besides the way my life's been going isn't all that bad." A smile broke over her face again. "Really all I came over here to do was to introduce myself and see if there was anything you might need help with. You don't have to come see the store if you don't want to or if you don't have time. I'm sorry i kind of forced that on you." Her smile turned apologetic

By the time he was able to function correctly he would not have time to look at this book store and find money in time to pay for the hotel. Though, he wasn't to worried about not getting the money. There was always a good chunk of money he made sure was left unspent. This wasn't a desprite time to use it... but it could be done. "You didn't force anything on me... but I don't think i'll be going today... or moving at all for the most part." He really didn't have a comment on her life story, however short it was.

The cheerfulness was back. "Thats OK I should probably be going anyway. I need to see if they found anyone to help with those boxes. if they didn't then I get an extra shift today." This didn't depress her she liked working at the book shop but she liked working the counter more than moving boxes you get to meet more people that way.

"When exactly do you need to be going to do this?" If Adi could wait till he won't fall over when he tried to stand he might be able to help... That is if he was able to get paid. If money didn't run the world he would have done it out of kindness... but he can't live without money. The fogginess that had came over him because he tried to stand to early had dissipated. If he moved slow enough he could probably get up and moving now... Besides he could easily fake that he was fine.

A moment of thought. " Well not right away. I just get edgy I'm a bit overprotective of the shop and I kind of worry about it a lot." She laughed "I'm weird right. Talking about a store like it was a person." Her mood was fully recovered now what had even depressed her so much in the first place?

What was in his hand? Oh right that pastery... He looked at it and felt his stomach lurch again. There was no hope on eating it. He turned away from the baked good so it wouldn't make him sick. "If you can wait till I can stand... I could help you... ... ... That is..." He didn't want to mention that the only thing he wanted was money. It sounded like he was some greedy pig or something. But money makes the world turn... and it pays for shelter, books, ... and food...

and again she was almost hopping. "Really! thats so great! Thank you!" She was ecstatic this was great The owner of the store was going to be so happy. He had this weird thing about not wanting to make a girl do hard physical work. "So how long do you think you will be able to work? Because I think he usually pays by how much time you put in." She was talking fast again it was hard to believe she had ever looked sad.

Being that he was still having problems concentrating he got the gist of what she was saying. "I have nothing else to do today... This was actually what I was needing to do..." But one problem... Working at a book store might not be the best thing for him... Well, if he keeps his head on working he should easily forget that there are books surrounding him. The only thing he had to worry about was his brother.

She looked like she was about to explode with joy. "I ended up helping you after all! I hope that makes up for it. The guilt returned to her face even though she still looked cheerful. "There should be enough boxes to keep you busy for as long as you want to work. And I know He'll be happy to have someone taking care of them besides me."

Russell smiled slightly. He was getting use to her joyful personality now... Even though his head was still swimming. Well... Now that he had something to do sitting in the entrance of the alleyway being moody didn't seem to be very important anymore. He attempted at standing again and felt the same foggy feeling but not as bad as before. Slowly he stood up and noticed that his bangs was sticking to his face. During his panic he must have started sweating.
